Where To Eat?
The many restaurants, cafes and other multifarious eating options available in the Byron Bay area seem endless. Every month there is a new addition to an already over supplied market. This is great for creating a diverse range of places where people can eat out, but we are as a consequence spoiled for choice. Obviously it depends on the food mood you are in where you decide to eat. There is however an anticipation when we choose a restaurant that we will have an enjoyable experience and that all the usual dining out criteria will be met to our satisfaction, including the bill.

Local Knowledge
The Byron Bay Foodie eats out regularly in the local area and gives a realistic overview and critique of some of the eateries you might also like to visit. Having the assistance of local knowledge can help you decide where you would like to dine out and which food establishment to choose. The Farm – Byron Bay
Reviewed 22nd August 2018

The Farm consists of a community of micro businesses in a huge rustic rural shed set in delightful bucolic fields and farmyard just as you imagine it to be. It’s only about 10 minutes from Byron Bay CBD but the farm takes you to another world, especially if you are from the city. The Farm is a local phenomenon and has been a success since day one, and no wonder it has all the right ingredients as a Byron Bay attraction. When you visit this buzzy, vibrant area you will understand why The Farm is everyone’s local favourite.
Most folk who go to The Farm are going there to eat at the Three Blue Ducks. The team that heads up the Three Blue Ducks are a success story all of their own and continue to expand.

We opted to go for lunch on a perfect, sunny day in Byron; very often you have to queue for a table, today we didn’t have to wait too long and were soon seated and ordered a refreshing local Kombucha and a very delicious New England Brewing Belgian style beer. All the beers are Australian produced craft beers.
So what to eat? The menu is versatile and has enough to offer whether you just feel like grazing or sharing or if you want to go the whole hog and have three courses. We decided on the ‘Tomato and Basil Soup’ (from the cafe menu), ‘Wok-fried greens, herb stem salsa verde and chilli salt almonds’ and the fish of the day being Chargrilled Mulloway, smoky fish broth, Tokyo turnip, radish, Farm greens, cultured butter and pickled stems.
